About
Wine has been my thing for a long time now. Not the kind of wine talk with scores and rankings, and words like “structure” and “elegance” thrown around to sound impressive. Just wine, and the people and place behind it.
I started Piemontegirl because I wanted to give people a little piece of Piemonte. Not just the wine, but the family who made it, the soil it grew in, and whatever story comes with it. Piemonte deserves more than a tasting note.
Here’s the thing: I don’t think good wine has to be complicated, or reserved for people who already know all the right words. I want everyone to drink good wine. That’s really it. No gatekeeping, no pretension, just good wine and a little context.
Anyway, that’s what you’ll find here. Stories about winemakers, the land, the culture, told the way I’d tell you over a glass myself. And if you’d like the real thing and not just the stories, I host tastings and tours through the vineyards and cellars I love. Just get in touch.
