Top 5 Hotels in Barolo

Not in any particular order, these are some of the best hotels in the barolo area. And remember, since I usually stay at Corte Gondina or in an aribnb, my hotel “knowledge” is somehow limited. But if you are looking for a hotel, these 5 are good ones.

  • Corte Condina
  • Rocche Costemagna
  • Palais Cerequio
  • Relais le Rocche
  • Le Torri

Corte Gondina

No doubt this is my favorite (we all know I love this hotel and the family that runs it). If you want more info, check out my previous post.

Between €100 – $200 per room

Rocche Costamagna

This is a very good option right in the center of La Morra. It’s always nice to stay in the center where everything is walking distance.

Between €140 – $280 per room

Palais Cerequio

This is probably the most luxurious hotel in Langhe, and I’ve only ever had dinner there but WOW. You’ll find this gem a little outside of La Morra – gorgeous rooms with a breathtaking view.

Between €190 – $700 per room

Relais le Rocche

I have never stayed here myself, but from what I hear (and have seen) this is a beautiful hotel.

Between €250 – €310 per room

Le Torri

Le Torri is located in Castiglione Falletto, right next to Vietti, and has a beautiful view of Langhe. And there is of course the amazing restaurant Le Torri attached, so that’s a reason to stay there (in case you had trouble finding one)

Between €80 – €150 per room

I know I talk about La Morra a lot, and the locals call me Lamorese, but there are many good places in the other towns in Piemonte. One of them is Le Torri in Castiglione Falletto. They changed owners a few years ago, so the restaurant has changed but definitely not for the worse.

Le Torri dining room

I mean, look at that beautiful dining room. And the incredible food! On the menu you will find the traditional dishes like Vitello Tonnato and Plin, but Le Torri also experiments with more untraditional dishes like seafood pastas and raw shrimp breaded in a pistachio crust. YUM!

If you’re in the area, you should stop by! And it’s right next door to Vietti so maybe you’ll catch a glimpse of Luca running around (or maybe even dining at the table next to you?)

Le Torri

Le Torri is a restaurant located in Castiglione, and I think it is one of the restaurants with the best views. If you are lucky enough to sit on the balcony, you have a beautiful view of Langhe. And the food is very good! They recently changed owners, and the new ones are doing very well! I usually eat the traditional dishes, like Vitello Tonnato and Tajarin Ragu, but they have a variety of dishes you can try. img_9008

The wine list is great; not surprising, since its located in the Barolo region. You find wines from the town, like Cavallotto or Vietti, but also wines from the other areas near by. By the glass or a full bottle, either way are you in good shape! Definitely worth a try, maybe after a winery visit with Guiseppe Cavallotto?le torri
